Penn-Co Construction was awarded the new Cross Lake Health Complex the 57,000 sq ft. building was to provide the complex health related services including emergency and ambulatory care, related medical and support/service facilities, and a large community health component with the potential for later expansion. Riverstone Projects was retained for the design review and systems installation coordination of all mechanical and electrical systems for the complex.

Involved in the review of tender design drawings for the entire building, Riverstone Projects was commissioned to provide a complete coordination of all building mechanical and electrical systems for integration into the facility.  Our review for interference and coordination of installations proved to be essential in the successful delivery of this project.  

Our scope of work involved the detailed review of architectural design, details and finishes while cognizant of structural elements of the building.  Riverstone's identification of problem areas and production of detailed drawings and sections allowed Penn-Co and major trades the ability to flag concerns in a proactive manner to the consultant team for review and well in advance of construction on site negating schedule delay.  As part of the identification of problematic areas, alternate design routing, sizing and recommendations were submitted to the Client for evaluation and formal incorporation into the project.
